Seven Sevens

Seven Sevens is a mountain running event in County Down scheduled for Saturday 8 August 2026. The course distance is 31.00 km with a total climb of 2800 m. A short course is not listed.

The event difficulty is recorded as 5 (2,1,2). Race marking is limited to only major junctions. GPS use on the course is not allowed.

Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard. All runners must bring a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent. The exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and clearly advised at registration. Runners should have the means to carry the kit. Failure to have the required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification, and random checks may be carried out.
