About the race
SkyRun the Mournes is a mountain racing event on 10th October 2026 in the Mourne area offering three skyraces of different lengths and ascent profiles.
The event features these race distances:
- 50 km Mourne SkyUltra®
- 35 km Mourne Skyline®
- 20 km Mourne SkyTrail
Each race includes significant elevation gain and set time limits. The Mourne SkyUltra® has 3,500 m+ of ascent, a 12 hour cut-off and two aid stations. The Mourne Skyline® has 2,700 m+ of ascent and an 8 hour cut-off with one aid station. The Mourne SkyTrail has 1,300 m+ of ascent, a 4 hour cut-off and a finisher beer.
