Safety and mandatory kit

This event requires Level B - Standard mandatory kit. Items listed as required are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. Runners must be able to carry the kit during the race. The exact kit to be carried on the day may be finalised depending on conditions and will be advised at registration. Failure to have the required items may result in being denied entry or disqualified; random kit checks may be carried out.

Volunteering and practical notes

Non-running volunteers must complete two roles in a calendar year to qualify for the end of year prize. Participants are advised to aim to volunteer at least once for every ten events they run.
