Trail Running calendar near Ramsbottom 2026-2027

SheRACES Trail Series is a women only trail running event. The 2026 edition takes place in the Surrey Hills and offers approximately 10 km, 25 km and 50 km course options on sociable trails while promoting inclusive participation.

Join the final race of the Jane Tomlinson Canal Race Series on 7 July in Methley, Leeds. Run a flat 5 km towpath course to support the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and enjoy medals, age category prizes and a friendly 1.5 mile fun run.

Join the Stoodley Pike fell race at Todmorden on 7 July 2026 for a sharp 5 km challenge with 213 m of climb and stunning moorland views. On the day entries welcome for £5, minimum age 14; car sharing is requested.

A marked high moor fell race of about 7 miles with 366 m of climb in the South/West Pennines on 8 July 2026. Registration is at the Packhorse Inn car park, pre entry is via SiEntries and on the day entry may be limited to 120.

Take on the Stiperstones Fell Race in Snailbeach on Wed 8 Jul 2026, a rugged 6.7 km course with about 375 m of climb across classic Shropshire ridgelines. Pre entry is £7 or pay £10 on the day, with junior races available.

Take on the Borrowdale School Bash up Bessyboot in the Lake District: a short but fierce 5.2 km with 456 m of climb, offering stunning fell views and a real challenge. Entry on the day, with beer and a burger for every finisher.

A three leg fell relay at Danefield Park near Otley on 8 July 2026. Each leg is 4.8 km with 170 m of climb and teams of three compete across male, female and mixed categories.

A point to point river-side ultra of about 59 miles from Shrewsbury to Worcester on 10 July 2026. The route includes four checkpoints with vegan and gluten free options, mandatory kit requirements and a bespoke finisher medal and visor.

Run along the historic Huddersfield narrow gauge canal to Tunnel End, a 3.5 mile tunnel under the Pennines, with 5k, 10k, half and marathon options on 11 July 2026 in Slaithwaite. Friendly trail event with bespoke medal and feed stations.

Take on the Charlesworth & Chisworth Carnival Fell Race on Sat 11 Jul 2026 in the Peak District, a testing 5 km / 3.1 mile course with 180 m of climb. Pre entry and entry on the day plus junior races make this a great community running day.

Take on the Lyke Wake Challenge 2026, a point to point crossing of just over 40 miles between Osmotherley and Ravenscar along an unmarked moorland route. Finishers receive a technical t shirt and help support local mountain rescue.
