Trail Running calendar near Leicester 2026-2027

An 11.2 km multi terrain community race around Gnosall with a separate chip timed family fun run. The route passes canal towpaths, farmland and woodland and all finishers receive a technical shirt and finish line refreshments.

A multi distance trail event in the Cotswolds on 13 and 14 June 2026. Based at Cirencester, it offers loop and staged 100 km options with regular rest stops, medical support, camping and finishers awards.

A timed multi-lap event at Chorlton Water Park on 13 June 2026 with laps of a 5.3 km out and back riverside course, a seven hour limit, vegetarian aid station options and a charity donation per entry.

Tackle the Wincle Trout fell race in the Peak District, a scenic but testing 9.5 km course with 320 m of climb and a possible river crossing, held alongside the lively Wincle Fete. Places are limited and available by pre entry only.

A nonstop 268 mile race along the Pennine Way from Edale to Kirk Yetholm with a 156 hour time limit. Checkpoints provide meals, rest and medical support. Entry requires age 21 or over and qualifying endurance experience.

Tackle the classic Edale Fell Race in the Peak District, a 4.7 miles route with 402 m of climb across dramatic moorland. Pre entry and on the day entry are available, plus junior races and entry to Edale Country Day for runners.

Take on the Trevor Milner Riber Run on 16 June 2026 in Lea Green near Matlock for a scenic yet testing 6.8 km course in the Peak District with 305 m of climb. On the day entries available and juniors can join free in the main race.

A fund-raising fell race on 17 June 2026 near Castleton in the Peak District. The route is about 8.5 km with roughly 370 m ascent, run under FRA rules with mandatory kit and flagged, marshalled navigation.

A multi terrain 5 km race at Blackpit Farm near Silverstone featuring woodlands, lakeside lawns and farmland. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and free parking is available at Blackpit Brewery.

A pop up Summer Series event at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve offering 5k and 10k options, on the day or online entry, free parking and post-run food, drink and a medal.

The Tideswell Fell Race is an 8 km run through the Peak District, featuring a route over the Monsal Trail and Cheedale. Participants cross stepping stones and finish at Miller's Dale Station, with handmade glass medals for all.

A point-to-point trail event on the Three Shires Way offering a 50 mile ultra and a marathon through Bucks Beds and Northants, with GPX routes, checkpoint support, mandatory kit requirements, prizes and charity donations.

A Malvern Hills challenge on 20 June 2026 based at Colwall Village Hall offering 27 mile and 15 mile routes, substantial ascent, staffed checkpoints with refreshments, and a hot meal and certificates at the finish.

Join the James Blakeley Fell Race on Sat 20 Jun 2026 in Holmfirth for a thrilling 5 km Peak District challenge with 180 m climb. Entry on the day is free though site admission applies, teams of three welcome, minimum age 14.

Two self navigated trail routes across the Marches of England end at Ludlow Castle on 20 June 2026. Options include an about 30 mile ultra and an about 14 mile half with mixed trail, hills and rural scenery.

Multi terrain ultra running in Derbyshire with 50 mile, 50 km and six person relay options. Routes follow the Derby Nomad trail, require navigation skills and include checkpoint support and finisher prizes.

A 21.2 km trail race across the National Trust's Dunstable Downs with about 450 m of ascent, waymarked routes and on course aid. Entry is limited to 300 runners with a 4 hour time limit.

A multi-terrain 10 km event at Twisted Tree Brewery on the private Tusmore Estate in Bicester, with standard and canicross 10 km options. Entry is £32 plus fees and entries close 17 June 2026; finishers receive a medal and a drink.
