The Tiger Trot - Northampton
The Tiger Trot is a 7 hour Time Challenge event held at Northampton Active and around the Northampton Washlands on well maintained paths and trail. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and is held under UK Athletics rules. A minimum completed distance of 3 km is required to be an official finisher and earn the event medal. The regular lap measures about 7 km (4.37 miles) but the route may be shortened after a health and safety review. The lap includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to accommodate younger runners and UK Athletics distance rules.
Entry prices shown for the event range from £18.00 to £34.00. Members receive the lowest entry price, which is £10.00 less than full price, guaranteed entry and a mini-me medal pin at events. Runners who belong to a UK Athletics affiliated club receive a £2.00 discount.
Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option available. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon distance and above and are attached to the medal ribbon. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury and sweet options including vegan choices.
Venue facilities include toilets but no separate changing rooms or showers. Parking at the venue is limited and nearby paid parking may be available. Headphones are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
