Petzl Night Trails 10k Coombe Abbey (March)
The event is a night trail run at Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry on 9 March 2027. The distance is 10k on trails that include woodland, meadow and grass fields. The route is the adapted winter variation used between October and April and is described as undulating but not hilly, with exposed tree roots, uneven surfaces and a few gates to navigate.
Participants must use a head or chest torch to run; entry without a torch is not permitted. Petzl are expected to attend with demo head torches and demo kit for testing, subject to confirmation. Water and electrolyte will be provided on course in biodegradable cups; foldable or collapsible cups are allowed but not required.
Parking at the venue can cost up to £3 for 1-2 hours. A toilet block is located next to the event headquarters. The park is on the outskirts of Coventry, around six minutes from Junction 2 of the M6, and the nearest train station is Coventry. A What3Words location is provided for the venue.
Entry fees follow tiered pricing: £16 before 09/02/2027 and £21 after that date; unaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra. There is an effective cut-off of two hours based on medic coverage and sunset. Dogs are not permitted on the course. The event offers a medal or an Earth Runs Big Bear Tree Token option that contributes to tree planting.
