Trail Running calendar near North Kawartha 2026-2027

A night trail race at Batawa Ski Hill offering 7 km and 14 km on technical, well marked trails with headlamps required. Aid stations, finisher medals for all and custom medals for first place male and female.

A trail race on August 15, 2026 at Kawartha Nordic Ski Club offering distances from a kids run to a 52 km ultra. Courses use 13 km loops with aid stations and both team and individual options.

The Last Hour is the final Happy Hour Friday Night Series race, an 8 km trail run at Vanderwater Conservation Area featuring pine groves, boulder fields and riverside trails. No aid stations; parking fees apply.

An obstacle race in Cloyne Ontario on August 29 2026 featuring a 3 km loop, a kids challenge and a 2 hour Endure to complete as many loops as possible. The event includes a festival area, food vendors and cash prizes.

Trail racing at Haliburton Forest on September 12 and 13 2026, featuring distances from 12K to the 100 Miler. Courses are forested and hilly, many categories sold out with a waitlist available.

Trail races of 10 km, 30 km and 43 km take place at Bon Echo Provincial Park on September 19, 2026. Routes include long technical single track, spaced aid stations and an overall 8 hour cutoff.

Trail and ultra races at Warsaw Caves with distances from a 1 km kids run to a 50 km ultra, team options and a virtual 15 km. The event is cup free, chip timed and donates a portion of fees to CMHA.

An inclusive trail run and family fun walk on the Kawartha Rail Trail supporting Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes. Distances include 1k, 5k and 10k with timing, wooden finisher medals and on site services.

A 6.5K snowshoe race on January 23, 2027 at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area near Brighton ON. The single loop route goes through pine groves and includes a post race chili lunch, a touque and prize draws.

Trail race at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area in Brighton, ON, opening the Happy Hour series. The course is about 6 to 8 km on trails with hills, rocks and mossy log bridges. No aid stations and the event is cupless.
