Event Details

The Last Hour is the final race in the Happy Hour Friday Night Series. It is an 8 km fun run on the gently rolling terrain of the Vanderwater Conservation Area. The event is designed as a welcoming and informal community trail run.

Location & Course

The event takes place at the Vanderwater Conservation Area on Vanderwater Road in Thomasburg, Ontario. The course features wide trails through pine groves, old boulder fields, and along the Moira River.

Logistics

There is a $6 parking fee at the conservation area gate, which accepts cash, debit, and credit cards. Registration is available on the day of the event for $30. Bib pickup and day-of registration open one hour before the start. There are no aid stations on the course, but a porta-potty is available in the main parking lot.

Additional Information

Timing is done manually, with results posted to the organizer's Facebook pages within 24 hours. There are no placement awards. Participants who complete all three races in the Happy Hour series will receive a custom medal and prize at this final event. No refunds are offered.
