North of 7 Challenge

The North of 7 Challenge takes place in Cloyne, Ontario on land north of Highway 7 and is organized by Move Better Basecamp. The listed event date is August 29, 2026. The main course is a 3 kilometre obstacle loop set in a natural forested area.

Participation options include:

  • 3 km obstacle loop
  • 1 km kids challenge
  • 2 hour Endure challenge to complete as many 3 km loops as possible

Obstacles are selected and tested with safety in mind. Completing obstacles is mandatory for competitors seeking cash prizes. Participants in the fun run may work together or skip obstacles if needed. The event uses timing chips which participants must return after the race.

Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 2 hour Endure challenge. Additional prizes from Under Armour are given across categories. Finisher items include an Under Armour shirt, race bib, a custom wood token, and a cold brew for participants aged 19 and over.

The festival area hosts local vendors, a barbecue prepared by the Land’O’Lakes Lions club, and a Beer Kilometer served by a local brewery. On-site accommodation is offered on a 96.5 acre property with new trail sections, a beaver-made pond, campsite facilities, shared cooking station, fire pit, and portable toilets. Event capacity is limited to 200 participants. A course map will be released closer to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
