Snowy Soles - January 23, 2027

Snowy Soles is part of the Dion Snowshoe Racing series and takes place at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area north of Brighton, Ontario. The event is a single loop course of about 6.5K that runs through pine groves and includes several ups and downs.

If there is no snow and conditions allow (not too icy), the event may proceed as a trail run without snowshoes. A GPX file for the course is provided for GPS devices and watches, with guidance for importing into Garmin, Apple Watch platforms, and COROS or Suunto apps.

Registration included a post race chili lunch with vegetarian options, a Snowy Soles tuque with a new color each year, and entry in draw prizes including a pair of Dion snowshoes. Prizes and refreshments are presented afterward inside the Goodrich Loomis Center Facility to warm up.
