The event takes place at Batawa Ski Hill, Ski Club Lane, Batawa, ON, Canada, on November 15, 2026. It began in 2003 with 23 participants and has grown since; organizers state they aim to maintain an inclusive atmosphere for runners and walkers.

The course features rocks, roots, wide trails, single track, wooden bridges, creek crossings, hills and meadows. Conditions vary with weather, including possible snow or mud. Headphones are discouraged; if used keep volume low so others can pass.

There are three aid stations stocked with water, Tailwind and a range of snacks. This is a cupless event; participants should bring personal flasks, speed cups or bladders for refilling. Portable toilets are available at the start/finish area. First aid is provided by a medical provider.

50K regulations include a hard cutoff at 5:00 PM, a requirement to carry a headlamp after 3:00 PM, and a rule that runners not on their last loop by 3:45 PM will not be allowed to complete it. Pacers are allowed only on the last loop of the 50K with an access code. No refunds are offered; transfers between individuals are allowed until October 31 at the participants' expense. Fat Ass shirts and Bad Ass swag require pre-order by October 25; the 6-hour entry includes lunch and custom Badass swag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
