Boomerang Trail Run
Boomerang Trail Run, organized by Dirty Soles, takes place at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area in Brighton, ON on October 23, 2027. The event offers timed formats of 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours on a loop of roughly 7 km to be repeated as many times as participants choose within their selected duration. Registration closes October 21, 2027.
The course includes hills and natural trail features such as rocks, roots, sticks, mud and insects. Some sections are wide enough for two runners side by side while others narrow to a single-file track. The loop is marked but there are no mile markers. Runners will pass the aid station once per loop, approximately halfway around the course.
The aid station provides water and Tailwind along with standard aid station items. The event is cupless; volunteers can assist with refilling hydration packs, water bottles or handhelds. There is space at the start/finish for drop bags and to set up chairs or coolers. A porta potty will be on site; there are no changing rooms.
Kit pickup occurs before the race and specific details will be emailed to participants. Participants must check in at the timing table at the start and end of each loop; results are emailed within 48 hours. There are no refunds or deferrals. Transfers of entries are allowed but changes will not be accepted after October 15, 2027. The shirt order deadline is October 1, 2027 and registrants after that date may not receive a shirt. All registrants will receive a participant medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
