Dark & Dirty Night Race
The Dark & Dirty Night Race is a night trail event in Batawa, ON, organized by Dirty Soles and held on the trails around Batawa Ski Hill. The course offers three distances and the race begins after sunset.

- 21K
- 14K
- 7K
The trails are described as rocky and rooty with stumps and hills; they are reported to be well marked. Headlamps, flashlights or waistlamps are mandatory. For safety, headphones are not allowed.
Aid stations and course support include water and Tailwind, plus watermelon, chips and freezies at the halfway point for the 14K and 21K distances. The event is cupless; participants are required to bring their own water bottles.
Bibs are distributed on race night. Participants are manually timed and bibs must be clearly visible and worn on the front. Custom medals are awarded to first place male and female in each distance, and all participants receive race medals. There are additional draw prizes donated by local businesses. A porta potty is available at the start/finish area. Race shirts will be provided for those registered before June 19. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
