2026 Northumberland Turkey Trot : Cobourg
The event takes place at the YMCA Northumberland, 339 Elgin St W, Cobourg, Ontario, on October 12, 2026. It supports the YMCA Strong Communities Campaign and lists a fundraising goal of CA$10,000 with current funds raised shown.

The course starts at the YMCA and goes through the Cobourg Conservation Area. Most of the route is on grass with uneven ground and small rolling hills. The 5K and 2.5K are timed events; the 5K uses two laps of the 2.5K route.
Finisher medals are available: medals for the first 400 registrants who participate in the 2.5K and 5K, and kids medals for the 1K (limit 150 kids). Bibs are assigned on site at check in and race day registration.
Displayed registration prices include mandatory fees and processing charges; the organizer states race fees are unchanged from the previous year. A family discount of 25 percent is offered with code FAMILY25 for registrations that include 2 adults and up to 4 children 18 or younger in the same transaction. Dogs are not allowed on the course during running events, but leashed dogs are welcome in the start/finish area. Strollers should remain off the course during running events.
