Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra

Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra : Long Sault Conservation Area, Bowmanville, ON

The event takes place on October 17, 2026 at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville. The course uses two 7 km all-trail loops and distances use those loops in different combinations.

Distances offered:

• 2K kids fun run, single trail loop.
• 7K single loop trail run.
• 14K two different 7 km loops.
• 21K three loops using the two trail loops.
• 6 Hour complete as many 7 km loops as possible within six hours.

There is a single aid station at the start/finish with water, lemon-lime Skratch, and typical participant snacks; these are emphasized for 21K and 6 Hour runners. Participants must be able to carry what they need to complete a 7 km loop before returning to the aid station. Starts are staggered and some distances are capped because on-site parking is limited.

On-site parking requires a paid receipt to be shown at registration; the receipt can be purchased in advance online. Cotton hoodies will be available for sale and proceeds will be donated to CLOCA. The kids fun run is sponsored by North Oshawa Dairy Queen and includes an ice cream voucher for each child. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
