Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra

The event takes place on October 17, 2026 at Long Sault Conservation Area, Woodley Road, Bowmanville, Ontario. Races are organized around two 7 km trail loops and offer several distance options.

Distances offered:

• 2K kids fun run with an ice cream voucher, sponsored by North Oshawa Dairy Queen.
• 7K single 7 km trail loop.
• 14K two different 7 km loops.
• 21K three loops, including the two 7 km loops plus one extra.
• 6 hour run where participants alternate between the two 7 km loops.

There is one aid station at the start/finish serving lemon-lime Skratch, water, and snacks. Participants must be able to carry what they need to run 7 km before returning to the aid station. For the 6 hour event, the winner is the runner who completes the most loops in six hours or finishes the final loop the fastest.

On-site parking is limited and paid at CA$7 per vehicle; a paid parking receipt must be shown at registration. Starts are staggered and distances are capped to manage parking. Every participant will receive event swag and prizes will be awarded by category subject to registration numbers. Cotton hoodies will be available for sale and proceeds will be donated to CLOCA. No dogs are permitted. A parent or guardian must run with a child in the 2K kids run. Registration fees are non refundable; bib transfers and distance changes follow the event policy.
