The Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra takes place on October 17, 2026 at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville, Ontario. The event is a trail race held on two all-trail loops of about 7 km each. Distances offered include:

The 7K course is a single loop. The 14K uses two different 7K loops. The 21K is three loops run on the two 7K trails. The 6-hour event alternates between the two 7K loops.

Race format and logistics

There is one aid station located at the start/finish area that supplies lemon/lime Skratch, water, and common race snacks; participants must be able to carry what they need to complete a 7K loop before returning to the aid station. Parking on site is limited and is charged at $7 per vehicle; participants must show a paid parking receipt at registration. Cotton hoodies will be available for purchase with proceeds donated to CLOCA. The Kids 2K Fun Run is sponsored by North Oshawa Dairy Queen and includes an ice cream voucher for each child; a parent or guardian must run with their child. No dogs are permitted. Registration policies note that event expenses are paid in advance, refunds or deferrals are not issued, and bib transfers or distance changes are allowed up to three days before race day.
