Whitetops Hill Race

Whitetops is organised by the Dundee Hawkhill Harriers and takes place in the Sidlaw hills, starting in the village of Kirkton of Auchterhouse to the north of Dundee. The event is scheduled for 26 June 2026 and has a total of 100 places.

The course covers 10.4 km with a height gain of 360 m. The route will be well marked and marshalled. Anyone over the age of 17 can take part, and the course arrangement makes it accessible to people new to hill racing.

Prizes are awarded for the first three male and first three female finishers, and for the first in each ten year age category (v40, v50, v60, etc.) for both men and women. There are also team prizes for the first male and first female teams, with three to count. Prizegiving will take place as soon as possible after the final runner finishes.

Registration and number collection take place in Auchterhouse village hall. Post race refreshments are provided in the village hall. The event is held under a Scottish Athletics race licence. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
