Format, rules and support
Relay teams may include 2 to 5 runners; team members may run multiple loops before tagging the next runner and exchanges must take place at the finish line. One aid station will be located at the start/finish area and will provide hydration, first aid, snacks, and electrolytes. A designated area near the start/finish is available for support crew and team tents. Drop bags are allowed at a designated tent.
Logistics and amenities
Lodging and primitive campsites are available as registration upgrades; cabins are shared and cabins reserved with relay teams sleep multiple people. Headlamps are required for night running. All participants receive a long-sleeved cotton shirt, a wooden finisher medal, a commemorative metal sign, and a complimentary pre-race pasta dinner. Awards are given to the top three males and females in the 12- and 24-hour events and to the top three relay teams. The minimum age to participate is 16.
