Event details

The AdventHealth Lake Apopka Scenic Trail event takes place on February 15, 2026 at Magnolia Park, 2929 S. Binion Road, Apopka, FL. The event offers multiple distances, including a virtual option:

• 30K - trail run along the Lake Apopka Loop Trail
• 8 Mile - out-and-back to the historic Lake Apopka Pumphouse
• 5K - out-and-back on the North Shore trail
• Virtual trail run, walk, or bike option available

The 30K course is described as an 18.6 mile route that starts and finishes at Magnolia Park. The 8 Mile and 5K also start and finish at Magnolia Park.

Course and logistics

Trails follow the Lake Apopka North Shore and Loop Trail. Surfaces include hard-packed limestone, pavement, grass, dirt, and areas of clay or lime rock. The event is cupless to protect wildlife; participants must carry a hydration pack or handheld bottle. Hydration and refueling stations are placed along the 30K route. Roving medical personnel will be on the course. The 30K has a pacing requirement to meet the course cutoff.

Awards and amenities

All participants receive a long-sleeved mesh technical shirt and a custom finisher medal. Overall awards are given to the top three individual finishers and masters, plus five-year age-group awards for both sexes. Post-race food and standard event support are provided.
