Lake Louisa State Park Trail Run, November 7, 2026
The event at Lake Louisa State Park offers three measured trail distances through park landscapes. The course runs through pine forests, lakeshores, open meadows and shaded oak areas. Wildlife such as deer and various bird species may be present along the route.
Aid stations are located approximately every two miles; some stations are self serve while others have volunteers. The event uses chip timing. Participants receive race swag and medallions after finishing. Post-race food is provided. For the half marathon, the last three aid stations include bananas and bars.
Packet pick-up is available November 5 at the National Training Center and November 6–7 at Lake Louisa State Park. Parking passes are single day use, must be purchased online the morning of the race, and parking fees go to Lake Louisa State Park. Participants are asked to follow park rules and posted speed limits.
Awards are given by overall placement, masters 50+, and age-group categories. Team awards include fastest team and largest team recognitions. There is a separate civil servant competition with awards for fastest civil servant team and for teams with the most participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
