Event Details
The Wild Boar Night Run is a half-marathon trail running event scheduled for September 12, 2026. It is held at the Green Swamp - West Tract in Dade City, Florida. The event is described as running rain or shine. There is no time cut-off for participants.
Course and Support
The course is an out-and-back route. The main aid station is located at the turn-around point near the McNeil Trailhead, which is approximately 6.6 miles from the start. The aid station provides soda, pickles, gummy bears or similar candy, chips, snacks, cookies, fresh produce, and electrolyte powder. It also stocks basic first-aid items like band-aids and women's hygiene products.
Awards and Finisher Items
Overall awards are given to the top four male and top four female finishers. There are no age-group awards. Finishers receive a choice of a pint glass, whiskey glass, orange juice glass, mug, or cup. Event stickers are also provided. Official event shirts, hoodies, and other merchandise are available for separate purchase online.
Post-Race Activities
A post-race potluck party is available for an additional fee of $25. Participants and volunteers are encouraged to bring food to share, such as fruit dishes, pasta salads, vegetable sides, main dishes like lasagna or pizza, or desserts.
