The Way of the Roses is a new 6-hour running challenge taking place at Rawcliffe Country Park, York. Participants run a flat, 3.42-mile loop along cycle paths from Rawcliffe to Skelton, completing as many laps as they choose within the time limit. Distances can range from a single lap to over 27 miles, making it suitable for half marathon and marathon goals. The event offers a supportive atmosphere with homemade cake, a fully stocked aid station, and a cupless format encouraging runners to bring their own bottles.
