The Ilkley Trail Race is a popular 6.9-mile multi-terrain running event held in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The out-and-back course features 810 feet of climbing, primarily on the outward leg, and offers stunning views over the Wharfe Valley and Ilkley Moor. Runners traverse a mix of tracks, woodland, fields, moors, and some short road sections.

The race starts near Ilkley Lido, with water stations provided along the route and at the finish. Licensed by the FRA as a category CM race, it requires participants to be 18 or older and adhere to specific kit rules. Proceeds support a charity in Uganda. Looped trail event in Masham on 5 July 2026 offering 3 hour and 6 hour options where runners complete as many laps as they can within the time limit. Trail and road terrain, feed stations, marshals, a bespoke medal and post race treats.

Trail runs from Dunsop Bridge through the Forest of Bowland offering 10k and 15k routes, chip timing, technical T shirt and finisher medal. Entries open 12 May and close 1 July 2026 and minimum age is 17.
