The Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K is organised by Driffield Striders and Nicola Amidulla Mortgages Ltd. It takes place at Sledmere House, Sledmere, Driffield, Yorkshire (YO25 3XG) on 5th June 2026. The 10K route runs through deep chalk valleys and secluded woodland paths and finishes on the wide lawns in front of Sledmere House.

Entry and participant limits

The 10K entry fee is £20. The event has a total entry limit of 400. At the time of publication there were 54 entries and 346 places remaining. Entries for the 10K close on 15th May 2026. Editing details and transferring entries must be completed before 15th May 2026.

Practical information

Chip timing is used for the 10K and a medal is awarded to all finishers. Minimum age for the 10K is 15 years on race day. There are no on-the-day entries for the 10K. The Fun Run accepts entries on the day and is free to enter. Parking, refreshments and toilets are provided; there are no changing facilities. Scarborough Rock on 10 January 2026 offers 16 and 26 mile walking and running routes along Scarborough coast, Oliver's Mount and moorland. The popular LDWA event is based at Scalby Parish Hall and is full with a waiting list.

Orienteering at Beverley Westwood on Sunday 11 January offers runnable common land, small woods and some climbs across courses for all abilities from White to Brown. Golf greens are out of bounds and dogs are welcome under control.

YHOA Night League at Bishop Wood, Saturday 17 January, brings night orienteering on courses from 1.6 to 5.4 km with an intro option for juniors and novices. Enter by 11 January to guarantee a map; entries close 15 January.
