Summer Solstice Challenge
Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom • 21 Jun 2025
The Summer Solstice Challenge is a 6-hour timed running event held at Poorhouse Lane, Hull. Participants can run distances ranging from 5K up to an ultra marathon within the time limit. The course is a flat, out-and-back 4.37-mile loop along a tarmac path on an old railway line, with no navigation required.
Shorter distances like 5K and 10K use designated turn points and laps. Aid stations with water, drinks, and food are available at the end of each lap. Facilities include nearby toilets and limited parking.
Finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag. The event welcomes runners aged 12 and above, with distance limits for younger participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
