The Ship Inn Shuffle takes place on 28 June 2026 in Sewerby, starting and finishing behind the Ship Inn, Cliff Road, Sewerby, Bridlington YO15 1EW. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Entry prices vary by distance; published price range is £26 to £42. Age limits apply by distance: marathon entrants must be 21 or over, half marathon 17 or over, 10k 16 or over. A 6.5 hour cut-off applies to all distances. Transfers can be self-served up to 48 hours before the event.

Course and logistics

The course is an out-and-back that begins on the cliffs at Sewerby, runs along the coast past Danes Dyke and out to Flamborough, and returns to the Ship Inn. The route runs through fields, woodland and trail and is undulating, with multiple steps and a couple of stiles. Feed and drink stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles; the event prefers reusable cups or bottles. GPX files are available for navigation. Not every corner will be marshalled and there may be unmarshalled road crossings.

Facilities and rules

Finish food is provided either from the Blue Savannah van or from the Ship Inn, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Parking behind the pub is available for £5 cash; other nearby parking is charged by the council. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone-conduction or single in-ear use is permitted.
