Tibthorpe Loop : Trail Half Marathon in the Yorkshire Wolds
The Tibthorpe Loop is a circular trail half marathon held in the Yorkshire Wolds near Tibthorpe. The course is described as undulating but not technical, covering 14 miles with approximately 1,200 ft of climb. The route follows the first 9 miles of the Wold Rangers Way Ultra and is supplied as a GPX file; it is also marked on the day with yellow tape and large yellow correx signs at key junctions.
The event starts and finishes at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn. The venue offers free parking, indoor cycle parking, indoor toilets and outdoor eco friendly toilets, a coffee barn serving food and drinks, and a campsite option. Registration includes a plantable wildflower seed medal made from recycled materials, and one tree is planted to mark each achievement.
