About the race
Driffield Striders and Nicola Amidulla Mortgages Ltd present the Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K, an evening trail event at Sledmere House in Driffield, Yorkshire on 18 June 2027. The route runs through deep chalk valleys and secluded woodland paths and finishes on the wide sweeping lawns in front of Sledmere House.
The event programme includes:
- 10 km trail race
- 3.6 km Trail Taster race
- ~500 m Fun Run for children aged 9 and under, mostly run with a parent
Race facilities and conditions are stated as follows: chip timing for the 10K, a medal awarded to all finishers, a minimum age of 15 years on race day for the 10K, no entries available on the day for the 10K, parking, refreshments and toilets, and no changing facilities. The Trail Taster requires separate registration. The children's Fun Run allows on the day entries and is free to enter.
