Route and distances
The route circles Scarborough, follows the Cleveland Way north through Robin Hood Bay to Whitby (the halfway 50 km stop), then for full 100 km challengers it runs inland along the Esk Valley and across moorland before returning to Scarborough via the Tabular Hills Walk and Moors Park Forest.

- 100 km - ~2,270 m climb
- 50 km - ~1,260 m climb (first half)
- 50 km - ~1,010 m climb (second half)
- 25 km - ~450 m climb
- 10 miles (Whitby) - ~330 m climb
Support and logistics
Rest stops are provided every ~12.5 km with major stops at approximately 25/50/75/100 km. Food is supplied at regular snack stops and meals approximately every 25 km; hot drinks, water and energy drinks are available and dietary requirements are catered for. Medical teams, podiatrists and massage therapists are available at rest stops and on the route. The route is fully signed and uses GPS tracking via an event app. Camping packages and shuttle transfers are offered, and finishers receive a medal, t-shirt, a drink and a finisher meal.
