SilverBackTrails Lamplighter 40

The SilverBackTrails Lamplighter 40 is an all night trail running event held around a circular route from Goathland Village Hall across the North York Moors. The event runs from sunset to sunrise on the scheduled date, with total time for the overnight section circa 12 hours.

Refreshments and snacks are available at three checkpoint locations, including one indoor checkpoint serving pizza and hot and cold drinks. Hot food is provided at the finish and includes vegetarian and gluten free options. All finishers receive a Lamplighter medal and there are mementos for the first female and first male finishers. Optional event-specific technical T-shirts are available for purchase.

Entry is open to adults aged 18 or older. Entrants may enter solo or as a pair; pairs must run together unless one person withdraws. Entrant numbers are limited to 40. Registration and number collection take place before last light.
