Vertical Vendetta

Vertical Vendetta is a Vertical Kilometre race held at Pass Powderkeg Ski Area in Crowsnest Pass, Blairmore, Alberta, Canada.

The event uses a looped course with four ascents of the lift line route to reach a total of 1,000 vertical metres. The route has an average grade of 25 percent; the descent follows a slightly gentler line than the climbs.

Runners repeat the prescribed up and down course until they reach the 1,000 metre elevation gain milestone. The event is described as having a grass roots vibe and includes festivities after the race. A separate Kid's Vendetta is offered for children aged 5 to 15.
