Course, logistics and policies

The course runs along the river with flat, fast sections, swinging bridges, trestles, and a single hill that leads to a fire tower. The 25K route includes the Benhams to Mendota section with double crossings of a swinging bridge. Five aid stations are available on course. The event is cupless; each participant must carry a reusable cup for drinks and hot liquids.

Packet pickup is provided for the 50K at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum and for the 25K at the race start/finish on race morning. Lodging options are listed near the start area. The organizer accepts each entrant’s declared gender for registration and provides entry accommodations for athletes with disabilities; tethers, leg prosthetics, and approved braces or poles may be used.
