Troublesome Hollow 50K
Troublesome Hollow is a multi-distance trail event near 7720 Rich Valley, Bristol, VA, organized by Yeti Trail Runners and held over two days in April. Distances offered include:
- 50K
- 25K
- 3 mile walk
The course follows riverside trails with generally flat and fast sections, and includes swinging bridges and trestles. The route also climbs a small hill to a fire tower. The 25K route uses the Benhams to Mendota section and crosses the swinging bridge twice.
Aid stations are provided along the course and are described as stocked with mountain hospitality. Early starters should be aware they may reach some aid stations before setup. Chip timing and live tracking are provided by ZEN ARCADE TIMING, which supplies timing accuracy, real-time tracking, and live splits.
The event is part of the From Start to Heart series; series registration is listed at $450 and the series is limited to 50 entrants. Registration opens November 1, 2026.
