Steele Creek Struggle Half Marathon Trail Race

The event is a 13.1 miles trail half marathon held at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN (4 Little Lane, 37620). The course features technical single track with roots and rocks, steep climbs and fast descents, creek crossings, narrow switchbacks, and ridge lines through Appalachian woodlands. The route accumulates more than 2,000 feet of elevation gain and follows rocky forest paths that require attention to footing.

Wildlife in the area may include white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and possibly bear. The race is explicitly described as not beginner friendly and intended for runners prepared for technical, unpredictable terrain.
