The Dam Yeti is a point-to-point trail event held over a June weekend in Abingdon, Virginia. Distances offered include:

The course follows the Virginia Creeper Trail, a rails-to-trails route with crushed gravel surface. The route passes over trestles, through forested sections, past farms, and along streams. The 50-mile race is USATF certified (VA19002MS). Chip timing is provided by Zen Arcade Timing. Finishers of the Pepsi Challenge receive a custom medal, and there is a special award for athletes who complete both Saturday and Sunday races.

Course access, rules and logistics

The event is a cupless race; runners must carry a hydration pack or bottle (minimum 16 oz) and a reusable cup. Mandatory equipment also includes 500 calories of fuel. Drop bags are accepted for the 50-mile race at packet pickup and are placed at Damascus. Pacers are allowed for the 50-mile distance with specified pickup points. Crew access points are listed separately for the 50-mile and 55K courses and include Damascus and Alvarado; Watagua is listed as a crew access point for the 50-mile race. Aid stations are located at Taylors Valley, Damascus, Alvarado, Watagua, and the finish.
