TransRockies Run - Pass to Pub

The TransRockies Run - Pass to Pub is a three stage trail running race in the Colorado Rockies near Leadville, CO. The route crosses the continental divide between Hope Pass and Red Cliff and is held July 19 to July 21, 2026. The event is staged over three days with daily camp gatherings at the end of each stage.

Distances offered:

  • Full Pint: 51 miles, 9,635 ft vertical gain
  • Half Pint: 35 miles, 6,855 ft vertical gain

The race is fully supported. Support services include tents, live bands, a mobile shower truck, catered meals, athletic therapy and massage. An opening ceremony and a shuttle from Denver International Airport to Leadville are scheduled the day before the race; these shuttles are not included in race entry. After the final stage there is breakfast and shuttles back to Denver International Airport; these shuttles are also not included in race entry.

Stage itinerary lists Stage 1 at Hope Pass, Stage 2 from Leadville to Nova Guides, and Stage 3 from Nova Guides to Red Cliff (Mangos). Registration is limited to 500 runners and registration closes July 16 at 11:59 PM MT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with the Spirit Trail Race in Buena Vista, Colorado, a scenic trail event with marathon, half marathon and 9k options. Start in town square, enjoy Paddlefest fun, and support local nonprofits.

A 20K clockwise loop around Turquoise Lake that mixes hilly paved road and single track trail, held May 30, 2026, with $40 adult registration and free entry for youth 17 and under. Proceeds support local youth athletics and recreation.

A scenic *5 km* cross country race at the Leadville National Fish Hatchery on May 31, 2026, with dirt road, path and trail sections. Awards are given by age group and youth registration is free.

A three day Leadville training camp that walks and runs major sections of the Leadville Trail 100 course, pairs guided day and night runs with recovery and nutrition support, and includes panels, Q&A sessions and a provided running kit.
