Entry requires athletes to be at least 18 on race day; standard entry pricing listed is $495 and the event uses a lottery and qualification process (lottery window and results are specified on organizer materials). There are 11 aid stations on course offering water, Neversecond gels and sports drink, Skratch Labs hydration, bars and chews, and assorted foods. Runners may send clear plastic drop bags to five aid-station locations and must label bags with bib number, name, and aid station.
There are four official crew locations : Outward Bound, Pipeline, Twin Lakes Village, and Mayqueen : and crewing outside these locations is against race rules. Twin Lakes has shuttle-only access for crews. Each runner receives two pacer bibs at packet pickup; pacers must wear a bib while on course. Finishers who meet chip-time standards receive belt buckles and finisher apparel; belt-buckle eligibility is based on chip time thresholds published by the organizers.
