Breckenridge Oktoberfest 5K

The Oktoberfest 5K is a trail run organized by the Breckenridge Recreation Department. Located in Breckenridge, Colorado, the event takes place on the Town of Breckenridge Trails. Participants run through a landscape featuring changing aspen trees and seasonal scenery before the start of the local Oktoberfest festivities.

The event offers a single distance:

  • 5 km trail run

The race begins at the Breckenridge Recreation Center, located at 880 Airport Rd. The course finishes on Main Street at Blue River Plaza. Because of the trail environment, the race director may delay or reschedule the event in cases of inclement weather or specific trail conditions.

Registration is limited to 300 runners. The first 250 individuals to register receive a long-sleeve technical shirt. Registration fees are divided between adult participants and youth participants aged 17 and under. If the event does not reach its capacity via pre-registration, same-day registration is made available at the starting location.

The course is subject to change. Participants are encouraged to complete the distance in time for the official kickoff of the Oktoberfest celebration at Blue River Plaza. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
