Rubey Rescue Run

The Rubey Rescue Run is a Halloween-themed event on October 4, 2026. The event features a timed 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk.

The course begins at Koch Park in Aspen and winds through the Marolt foot path and open space. Participants are welcome to bring pets. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers.

All net proceeds benefit the Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter. Pets are encouraged to come in costume, with prizes for the best costumes. The event also includes a raffle and food trucks.
