1876 Centennial Run - Snowmass Village, CO
The 1876 Centennial Run takes place August 7 and 8, 2026 at the New Belgium Ranger Station in Snowmass Village. The event offers multiple trail distances and an 18.76k Challenge that is completed by running all three standard distances.
Distances:
- 3.76k
- 5k
- 10k
- 18.76k Challenge (complete all three distances)
This event is organized as a series of untimed, open-course trail runs. Routes start and end at the host brewery and are marked with arrows and volunteers at major turns. Roads will not be closed; participants must obey traffic laws and use caution at crossings where volunteers are present. Water stations and bathrooms are provided on the 5k and 10k courses only. Routes include single-track bike trails, ski slopes, and mountain access roads and involve notable elevation changes; the course is not suitable for running strollers.
Included with registration are a craft brew at the finish line, an event bib and finisher medal, and a chance to earn the 18.76k Challenge medal by completing all three distances. The event also features live music, food from the New Belgium Ranger Station, local vendors, door prizes, merchandise for sale, and an optional event t-shirt. Portions of proceeds support local nonprofits. Participants should bring valid ID and plan for rain or shine conditions. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
