Lead King Loop 25k
Marble, United States • 14 Sep 2025
Lead King Loop 25K, 8M, and Kids Run take place in Marble, Colorado, in the Elk Mountains. The flagship 25K is a dirt-road course starting at Thompson Park, winding through Beaver Lake and Lead King Basin, climbing roughly 2,900 vertical feet over about four miles into high alpine terrain, then descending past waterfalls, through Crystal and the historic Crystal Mill, before climbing out to finish in Marble. The 8‑Mile Quarry Climb follows Quarry Road with views of Maroon Bells–Snowmass and the Ragged Wilderness. A 2.5K Kids Run, post‑race Slow Groovin’ BBQ, beer, and a custom finisher medal round out the event; proceeds benefit Marble Charter School and the race is volunteer‑staffed.
