Silver Rush 50 Run - Leadville Race Series
The Silver Rush 50 Run is an approximately 50-mile out-and-back mountain running event held in Leadville, Colorado. The route travels through the historic east-side mining district, primarily on dirt roads first used by miners and burros, and passes by multiple historic gold and silver mine sites. The course is not closed to vehicle traffic.

- Silver Rush 50 Run : 16+ on race day
- Silver Rush 15 Run : 16+ on race day
- Silver Rush 5K Juniors : 10–18 on race day
Course highlights and logistics include a measured course distance shown as 48.4 miles in the official profile, about 7,503 feet of elevation gain, and a highest point near 12,024 feet. The 50-mile route is marked with pink flags. Total course cutoff is 14 hours; runners who do not meet aid-station cutoffs cannot continue.
There are seven well-supplied aid stations located outbound and inbound, offering water, Neversecond energy gels and high-carbohydrate drink mix, Skratch Labs hydration and bars, and assorted foods. Drop bags (clear plastic only) are transported to the Stumptown turnaround and are returned to the start/finish; they must be claimed the evening of the race. Crew access is limited to the start/finish, Printer Boy aid station, and Stumptown aid station.
Athletes and crews must use designated parking areas and shuttles; there is no parking at the start line. The Silver Rush 50 Run serves as a qualifier for the Leadville Trail 100 Run and awards qualifier coins and standard race medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
