Silver Rush 50 Run
The Silver Rush 50 Run takes place on July 11, 2026 in Leadville, Colorado, with event activities based at the base of Dutch Henry Tubing Hill. The race weekend includes multiple distances and a juniors category.

The primary race follows an approximately 50 mile out-and-back route through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. The course is primarily on dirt roads and begins at the Cloud City Ski Hut below Colorado Mountain College. Roads used by the course remain open to vehicle traffic. Course statistics: 48.4 miles listed, 7,503 feet elevation gain, and a highest point of 12,024 feet. The 50 mile course is marked with pink flags. Total course cutoff is 14 hours (chip time).
There are seven aid stations positioned along the route offering water, Neversecond energy gels and high carbohydrate beverage mix, Skratch Labs hydration products, bars and chews, and assorted foods. Drop bags for the 50 mile race are transported only to the Stumptown aid station and must be reclaimed after the event. Crews are permitted only at the start/finish, Printer Boy aid station, and Stumptown aid station. Parking and shuttles are staged from community parking lots; there is no parking at the start line.
Registration opens 1/9/26. Minimum ages and event pricing are published for each distance. The Silver Rush 50 Run is a qualifier for the Leadville Trail 100 Run and a minimum of 35 qualifier coins will be awarded by performance and lottery to eligible finishers who claim their spots at the awards ceremony.
