Silver Rush 50 Run : Leadville Race Series (July 11, 2026)

The Silver Rush events take place at the base of Dutch Henry Tubing Hill in Leadville, Colorado. The centerpiece is the roughly 50-mile out-and-back course that begins near the Cloud City Ski Hut and travels through the historic mining district on primarily dirt roads. The 50-mile route includes approximately 8,000 feet of elevation gain and passes by multiple historic gold and silver mine sites. Roads used on the course remain open to vehicle traffic.

Distances offered:

• 50 Mile Run - 50 miles, about 8,000 feet elevation gain
• 15 Mile Run - 15 miles on the same course
• Juniors 5K - for ages 10–18
• Silver Rush Challenge - combined 50 Run and 50 MTB results

There are seven aid stations positioned along outbound and inbound sections of the 50-mile course with on-course nutrition and packaged items provided. Specific aid station mile markers include Black Cloud, Printer Boy, Venir, and Stumptown; the race enforces cutoffs at several aid stations and a total course cutoff of 14 hours (chip time). Drop bags for the 50-mile race are transported to Stumptown only and are returned to the start/finish the same day. Crew access on course is restricted to the start/finish area, Printer Boy, and Stumptown aid stations. The 50-mile race serves as a qualifier for the Leadville Trail 100 Run.
