The Race in the Clouds - Alma Dirt Festival 2026 is a multi day outdoor event in Alma, Colorado, held June 25 to June 28, 2026. The main venue is Alma Cemetery Meadow, at about 10,600 feet elevation. The event combines mountain bike races, trail running, an off road duathlon, youth races, and weekend camping.

Course surfaces mix single track, forest service roads, and graded county roads. Each competitive loop includes two significant climbs and fast descents through high country terrain. Camping is available at the start line meadow located about half a mile from downtown Alma, with dispersed sites, porta potties, and trash containers provided. Athletes can receive a reduced camping rate when registered. Awards are given for overall top Men, Women, and Non Binary finishers and for multiple age group categories.
