The Three Towers Ultra is an off-road ultramarathon held on Saturday 19 September 2026. The route runs across the West Pennine moors and visits three towers: Jubilee, Rivington and Peel. The course is unmarked and passes close to a military firing range; route-finding skills are likely to be useful. A guided recce will be organised. The event base is the Ranken Arms Pub.

Entries, kit and inclusions

Entries open on 21 October 2025 and close on 28 August 2026. Entry fees shown in the organiser information give a range of prices: the 39-mile options span approximately £40 to £52, and the 55-mile options span approximately £48 to £60 depending on category and date. The organiser will run a kit check and intends to publish a kit list by the end of summer; the published list mentions a taped-seam jacket and trousers and a bivi bag. Included for participants are a finisher medal, a buff, checkpoints with food and drinks (including Mountain Fuel gels and snacks), GPS trackers, trail fees for National Trust and Natural England, and a donation to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
