Three Sisters Skyline is a trail race in Sisters, Oregon on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Distances offered:

• Half Marathon

Both races finish in the town of Sisters. The event benefits Sisters Trail Alliance, a non-profit that plans, builds and maintains multi-user, non-motorized trails in and around Sisters.

Course and logistics

The 50K reaches the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness and passes through Ponderosa pines, areas recovering from a 2012 forest fire, alpine meadows and a mountain stream. The first 9.7 miles include a steady climb of about 2,300 ft to Aid Station 1. Total climb is 3,700 ft with 4,700 ft of descent. About 95% of the 50K is on single-track trail. There are three fully stocked aid stations.

The Half Marathon is a point-to-point course with a net downhill of 1,500 ft and about 500 ft of total gain. Approximately 85% of the half marathon is single-track trail and there is one aid station at mile 7.1.

Runners are transported by shuttle to the start; drop-offs at the start are not permitted due to limited parking and bus turnaround congestion. Warm-up items can be transported back from the start in the race director’s vehicle; items left on the shuttle will not be returned.

Registration, awards and policies

Registration opens March 1, 2026. Early, mid and late registration price tiers are listed for each distance. Each finisher receives a medal; the top three finishers in female, male and non-binary categories in each race receive prizes. Cancellations more than 30 days before the race are eligible for a 50% credit toward the same event the following year; cancellations 30 days or less before the race receive no credit, refund or transfer. If the organizer must cancel and cannot reschedule, refunds or credits will not be given. The race operates under a special use permit with Deschutes National Forest and the City of Sisters.
