Three Sisters Skyline

Three Sisters Skyline is a trail event in and around Sisters, Oregon with courses that finish in the town center. The terrain includes Ponderosa pine forest, areas of regrowth from a 2012 forest fire, alpine meadows, and a mountain stream near the Three Sisters Wilderness boundary.

The 50K follows mostly single track trails and reaches the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness. The opening 9.7 miles include a steady climb of about 2300 ft to the first aid station, followed by a return descent through additional aid stations. The course lists a total of 3700 ft of climbing and 4700 ft of descent and includes three fully stocked aid stations.

The Half Marathon is a point to point trail course with a net downhill of 1500 ft and 500 ft of total gain. About 85 percent of this course is single track and it includes one aid station at mile 7.1.

Registration closes on Mon, Sep 14. The event policy states there are no transfers to other runners. Cancellations more than 30 days before the race may receive a 50 percent credit toward the same event next year; cancellations within 30 days receive no credit, refund, or transfer. If the event is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, no refunds or credits will be issued. Registration fees support the Sisters Trail Alliance.
