Event information

Three Sisters Skyline takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Sisters, Oregon. The event offers two race distances:

• Half Marathon

Both races finish in the town of Sisters. Registration opens March 1, 2026. Entry fees for the 50K are listed as $130 (Mar 1 - Mar 31), $140 (Apr 1 - Jun 30), and $155 (Jul 1 - Sep 14). Entry fees for the half marathon are listed as $105 (Mar 1 - Mar 31), $115 (Apr 1 - Jun 30), and $130 (Jul 1 - Sep 14). Registrants who register by August 16 are guaranteed a shirt size. The event benefits the Sisters Trail Alliance and is held under a special use permit with the Deschutes National Forest and City of Sisters.

Course and logistics

The 50K reaches the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness and runs through Ponderosa pine forest, areas recovering from a 2012 fire, alpine meadows, and along a mountain stream. The first 9.7 miles include a steady climb of about 2,300 ft to Aid Station 1. The course totals approximately 3,700 ft of climbing and 4,700 ft of descent, is 95% single track, and includes three fully stocked aid stations. The half marathon is a point-to-point trail with a net downhill of about 1,500 ft and about 500 ft of gain, is about 85% single track, and has one aid station at mile 7.1. Runners take a roughly 15-minute shuttle ride to the start; participants may not be dropped off at the start and should not leave items on the shuttle. Each finisher receives a medal; top three finishers in each gender category receive prizes.
