Three Sisters Skyline
Three Sisters Skyline takes place on September 18, 2027 at Village Green Park in Sisters, Oregon. The event offers two trail distances:
- 50K
- Half Marathon
The 50K route reaches the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness and runs through Ponderosa pine forest, areas recovering from a 2012 forest fire, alpine meadows, and alongside a mountain stream. The Half Marathon is a point-to-point course with a net downhill.
Shuttle service transports runners to the start; the ride is about 15 minutes. Runners are not permitted to be dropped off at the start because parking is limited and causes congestion at the bus turnaround. Warm-up clothing may be taken to the start and will be transported back by race staff; items left on the shuttle will not return to the finish.
Registration fees vary by date ranges for each distance. Each finisher receives a medal; the top three female, male, and non-binary finishers in each race receive prizes from sponsors. Pre-race offerings include products from Sisters Bakery and Backporch Coffee. A post-race burrito bar is provided for runners and volunteers.
Accommodations and camping are available in Sisters and nearby Bend and Redmond. The race is held under a special use permit with the Deschutes National Forest and City of Sisters and benefits the Sisters Trail Alliance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
