The Haulin' Aspen is a mountain trail running event on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Wanoga Sno Park near Bend, Oregon. Distances offered include:
- Full marathon (all-trail)
- Half marathon
- Half As - 6.5 miles
The race returns for its 22nd year and is held on trails in the Deschutes National Forest.
Course and aid stations
All courses are on single track and forest service roads with varying terrain and elevation, beginning and ending at Wanoga Sno Park at about 5,500 feet elevation. Trails may be dusty and rocky in places. Marathoners face a 700-foot vertical gain between mile 21.5 and mile 24.
Aid stations:
- Marathon: six aid stations on course; two stations are passed twice for eight aid opportunities (approximate miles 2.4, 4.7, 9.7, 12.7, 15.3, 19.1, 21.3 and 24).
- Half marathon: three aid stations; one is passed twice for four aid opportunities (approx. miles 2.4, 4.7, 7.6 and 10.9).
- Half As (6.5 miles): two aid stations (approx. miles 2.1 and 4.4).

Logistics and other information
Packet pick-up is at FootZone in downtown Bend. Bag drop tags are available at packet pick-up and on site the morning of the race. A post-race celebration takes place at Wanoga Sno Park with music, food, beer, and local vendors. The event’s beneficiary is Bethlehem Inn, an emergency shelter serving adults and children experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon.
