The Haulin' Aspen on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in Bend, Oregon includes three trail events:

All courses begin and end at Wanoga Sno Park on the Cascade Lakes Highway and run on single track and forest service roads through the Deschutes National Forest. The start/finish area is at about 5,500 feet elevation.
Course, terrain and aid stations
All courses are entirely on trail with varying terrain, elevation changes, dusty or rocky sections, and cool mornings that can warm during the day. The full marathon includes a 700-foot vertical gain between about mile 21.5 and mile 24. The full marathon has six aid stations on course (eight aid opportunities) with locations near miles 2.4, 4.7, 9.7, 12.7, 15.3, 19.1, 21.3 and 24; there are about five miles between the second and third aid stations. The half marathon has three aid stations (four aid opportunities) near miles 2.4, 4.7, 7.6 and 10.9. The 6.5-mile course has two aid stations near miles 2.1 and 4.4.
Logistics, awards and beneficiary
Packet pick-up is offered in Bend prior to race day. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Tees and tanks are available for pre-order at $30 each. Awards include top three male and female finishers in open and masters categories, plus 1st-3rd place age-group ribbons; prize items are offered for category top finishers. The event’s beneficiary is Bethlehem Inn, an emergency shelter providing meals and case management for people experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon.
