Run The Rock is a weekend of loop trail races held November 7 and 8, 2026 at Smith Rock State Park and the Crooked River National Grasslands near Bend, Oregon. Courses run through park rock faces and grasslands with views of the Cascade Range from Mt Hood to Mt Bachelor.

The 50K visits most park trails, including Misery Ridge and the area below the Monkey Face, then loops around Gray Butte. The course totals about 5000 ft of climbing and 5000 ft of descent, is roughly 85% single track and 15% double track and dirt road, and includes four fully stocked aid stations.
The 25K climbs Burma Road to the Gray Butte aid station, includes a summit section and a long downhill on Burma to the finish, and features about 3300 ft of elevation gain.
The half marathon offers Cascade views and a close approach to Monkey Face, with about 2500 ft of climbing over 13.1 miles and one full aid station. Participant parking is off-site at DD Ranch with a free shuttle to the park. Nearest airports are Portland and Redmond. Lodging partner arrangements are available in Redmond; other nearby towns include Madras and Bend.
Event amenities include pre-race coffee, a post-race burrito bar and local beers. All finishers receive a custom award. The event supports the Ridgeview High School cross country team and operates under a special use permit with federal and state land partners.
