Course, logistics and policies
The 50K uses most trails in the park, including Misery Ridge, a loop around Gray Butte, and sections below the Monkey Face. The course reports about 5,000 ft of ascent and 5,000 ft of descent, with roughly 85% single-track and 4 fully stocked aid stations. All participants must park off-site at DD Ranch; a free shuttle will run between the parking area and the park. The event lists an official lodging partner offering a discounted rate. Post-race provisions include coffee, a burrito bar, and beer options. All finishers receive a custom award; the top three non-binary, male, and female finishers in each race receive prize awards. The event beneficiary is the Ridgeview High School cross-country team. Refund and transfer rules apply; cancellations more than 30 days before the race can receive a 50% credit, otherwise no refund.
