Run The Rock is a weekend of loop-style trail races held within Smith Rock State Park and the Crooked River National Grasslands near Bend, Oregon on November 7-8, 2026. Courses pass the sheer rock faces at Smith Rock and offer views of the Cascade Range from Mt Hood to Mt Bachelor.

The 50K course uses most trails in the park, including Misery Ridge and sections below the Monkey Face. The route loops around Gray Butte, totals about 5000 ft of ascent and 5000 ft of descent, is roughly 85% single-track, and includes four fully stocked aid stations.
The 25K, new for 2026, highlights Smith Rock and Gray Butte, climbs Burma Road to the Gray Butte aid station, includes a summit section and a long downhill on Burma, and features about 3300 ft of climbing.
The half marathon follows mostly single-track trails with about 2500 ft of climbing and one full aid station.
Parking is off-site at DD Ranch with a free shuttle to the park. Lodging options are available in Redmond, Madras, and Bend, and the event lists a lodging partner offering a discount. Pre-race coffee and post-race food and beverage options are provided. All finishers receive a custom award.
