Suttle Lake Trailfest
Suttle Lake Trailfest is a timed trail running event near Sisters, OR with three race durations held on a looped course around Suttle Lake. The marked course is a 3.6 mile loop with about 110 ft of elevation gain per loop. The trail is described as well maintained and non-technical, with a soft forest floor and some exposed roots.
The event offers the following race options:
- 24 hour event
- 12 hour event
- 6 hour event
One aid station is located at the start and finish area. The aid station includes sweet and salty snacks, water, soda, electrolyte drink, gels and warm food items. Participants may set up a personal aid station nearby. Total mileage for each runner is calculated at the completion of each loop.
Free camping is available at South Shore Campground. A warming tent will be available on site. Pacers are allowed at the halfway point subject to these limits: 12 hours for the 24 hour event, 6 hours for the 12 hour event, and 3 hours for the 6 hour event.
The organizer’s refund and transfer policy specifies no transfers to other runners; cancellations more than 30 days before the race may receive a 50 percent credit toward the same event the following year; cancellations within 30 days receive no credit or refund.
