The Hoodoo Challenge: Run To The Top takes place in Sisters, OR. Races are held on forested trails that reach the top of Potato Hill and return to the Hoodoo Lodge parking area for a hosted lunch and awards ceremony. The event includes the following distances:
- Half marathon
- 5K
The 5K course begins at the Hoodoo parking lot and finishes at the top of Hoodoo. Half marathon participants run to the top and then walk back down to the Hoodoo Lodge parking area for the post-race lunch and awards. The courses are described as following scenic forested trails with views from the top of Potato Hill.
Entry and extras
All participants receive a 2-for-1 lift ticket voucher for Hoodoo with entry. Dri-fit race shirts and trucker-style logo hats are offered for purchase at checkout for an additional $30, with shirt sizes to be specified. Top male and female finishers in both the half marathon and the 5K are awarded a season pass to Hoodoo. Entry fees listed are $65 for the half marathon (increasing to $80 for late registration after June 28), $45 for the 5K, and $25 for junior runners under 18.
