Oregon Cascades 100 and 50 Mile

The Oregon Cascades event features point-to-point trail races that run from Bend to Sisters in Central Oregon. The courses traverse Cascade trails and offer mountain views and community support along the route.

  • 100 mile : point-to-point, roughly 10,900 ft gain.
  • 50 mile : point-to-point, roughly 4,000 ft gain.

The 100 mile course also has about 11,400 ft of loss, with the majority of climbing occurring in the first 100K. The route is approximately 78% single-track, 20% gravel or dirt road, and 2% pavement, and includes 12 full aid stations. The 100 mile race has a 32 hour, 1 minute and 18 second finish cutoff and serves as a Western States qualifier.

The 50 mile starts at Swampy Lakes Sno Park, has about 6 full aid stations, and includes a pre-race one-way shuttle to the start as part of entry. The 100 mile event offers an optional one-way shuttle from the finish to the start for a fee of $35 per person; shuttle tickets are non-refundable.

Bib pickup and drop-bag turn-in are mandatory the day before the race at Sisters Middle School Gym. The post-race meal is provided for runners and volunteers; extra meal tickets are available for pacers and crew. Each official 100 mile finisher receives a custom buckle and a sub 24 hour buckle is offered. Podium awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. Travel between Bend and Sisters is about 30 minutes and the nearest airport is Redmond. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
