Oregon Cascades 100
Oregon Cascades 100 is a trail running event in Sisters, Oregon, offering both a 100-mile and a 50-mile point to point course. The 100-mile race starts in Bend and finishes in Sisters. The course records about 10,900 feet of elevation gain and 11,400 feet of elevation loss, with much of the climbing occurring in the first 100K. Course surfaces for the 100-mile race are primarily single-track trails and dirt or gravel forest service roads, with 12 full aid stations and a total time limit of 32 hours, 1 minute and 18 seconds. Finishers within the limit receive a custom buckle.
The 50-mile race starts at Swampy Lakes Sno Park with shuttle service from the finish area at Sisters Middle School. The 50-mile course has about 4,000 feet of gain and 6,500 feet of loss, includes five full aid stations, and a 16 hour cutoff. Surfaces are largely single-track trails and dirt or gravel forest service roads.
The event functions as a Western States qualifier. Pacers are permitted but must sign a waiver. The event organizer does not allow transfers; cancellations more than 30 days before the race may receive a 50 percent credit toward the same event the following year, while cancellations within 30 days receive no credit, refund, or transfer.
