Oregon Cascades 100

Oregon Cascades is a point to point trail event that runs between Bend and Sisters in central Oregon. The routes follow Cascade trails and a mix of single-track and road surfaces, with multiple staffed aid stations and an overall time limit for the 100 mile course.

The event offers these distances:

  • 100 mile: point to point from Bend to Sisters
  • 50 mile: point to point starting at Swampy Lakes Sno Park

The 100 mile course records about 10,900 ft of elevation gain and 11,400 ft of loss. Most of the elevation gain is concentrated in the first 100K. The course surface is roughly 78% single-track, 20% gravel or dirt road, and 2% pavement. There are 12 full aid stations and a finish time limit of 32 hours, 1 minute and 18 seconds. The 100 mile race is a Western States qualifier.

The 50 mile course has about 4,000 ft of gain and 6,500 ft of loss and includes 6 full aid stations. Shuttle service logistics vary by distance; 50 mile entries include a pre-race shuttle from the finish location, while 100 mile runners may purchase a one-way shuttle to the start.

Mandatory bib pickup and drop-bag drop occur the day before the race at Sisters Middle School Gym. The entry lists for both distances are marked as sold out. Post-race meal service is provided for runners and volunteers. The nearest commercial airport is in Redmond. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
