Oregon Cascades 100 and 50

Oregon Cascades is a point to point trail event running from Bend to Sisters through Cascade trails and mountain terrain. The races start in Bend and finish in Sisters, Oregon, with notable single-track on the Bend side and more rugged terrain approaching Sisters.

Key distances:

  • 100 mile : ~10,900 ft gain; ~11,400 ft loss; 12 aid stations.
  • 50 mile : ~4,000 ft gain; ~6,500 ft loss; 6 aid stations.

The 100 mile course packs most of its elevation gain into the first 100K, is approximately 78% single-track, 20% gravel or dirt roads, and 2% pavement, and carries a finish time limit of 32 hours, 1 minute and 18 seconds. The 100 mile race serves as a Western States qualifier. The 50 mile course starts at Swampy Lakes Sno Park and follows a classic point to point layout.

Logistics include mandatory bib pickup and drop-bag delivery on Friday, July 23, 2027, at Sisters Middle School Gym with an 8PM drop-bag deadline. A one-way shuttle option from Sisters to Bend is available for 100 mile entrants for a stated fee; the 50 mile entry includes a pre-race shuttle from the finish area. Registration windows and tiered fees apply for both distances. Post-race meals are provided for runners and volunteers. Official 100 mile finishers receive a custom buckle and podium prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
