Distances

Course and logistics
All distances start and finish at Sisters Middle School, 15200 McKenzie Highway, Sisters, OR. The 40-mile course includes long uphill sections and mixed terrain; mud and snowy sections are possible. The marathon follows the 40-mile course for the majority before finishing with the 20-mile route. Aid stations occur roughly every 3 to 7 miles.
Aid stations, crew, and finish amenities
Aid station provisions vary by distance: the 40-mile has five full and two limited stations; the marathon has three full and two limited stations; the 20-mile has four full stations. Drop bags are permitted at designated aid stations for the 40-mile and the marathon. No crewing is allowed for the 20-mile; limited crew access applies at specified stations for the longer distances. Post-race food is provided, showers are available in the field house locker rooms, and all finishers receive Rumble finisher socks.
